Dr. Oscar Benavidez MD, MPP, MBA is the Chief of the Department of Pediatric/Congenital Cardiology, Executive Director of the Congenital Cardiac Surgical and Catheterization Program and Vice Chair for Health Equity at Massachusetts General Hospital within the Mass General Brigham health system.

As the Executive Director and Chief of the Congenital Cardiac Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Benavidez is well-versed in the complexities of healthcare management and delivery within a large academic health center and the community. He has overseen the acquisition and integration of multiple multi-site practices including infrastructure improvement, capital purchases, clinical and administrative restructuring.

As a Harvard and MIT-trained leader, Dr. Benavidez holds an MD, MPP, and MBA, equipping him with a unique blend of clinical, policy, and business insights.
