Clare Duan founded CD Healthcare Infrastructure Manager LLC, the Manager of CD Healthcare Infrastructure Partners and all its affiliates and joint ventures.

Clare Duan has over a decade of experience in real estate investing and investment banking. Prior to founding CDHIP, Clare served as the Vice President of Special Situations Group at Colony Capital, a global real estate investment manager with $40 billion assets under management, and VP of Acquisitions at Senior Resource Group, one of the largest luxury senior living owner-operator platforms in North America with $3.5 billion of assets under management.

Clare has worked on multi-billion dollars of real asset and M&A transactions across the U.S. and Europe, ranging from healthcare facilities, education facilities, data centers, hotels, and corporate sale-leasebacks. During her time at Colony Capital, she has gained invaluable insights from restructuring Colony’s multi-billion healthcare assets inherited from Colony’s merger with NorthStar Realty Finance.

Clare started her career at Morgan Stanley Real Estate and UBS Healthcare Investment Banking in New York in 2007. Clare graduated with honors from Boston College (BS in Mathematics and Finance) and received her MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Clare is also a part of Harvard Medical School’s Global Healthcare Leaders Program.
